Biographical / Historical

The Chicago Press Veterans Association was founded in 1939 to provide working newspaper men and women engaged in the art of gathering, writing, editing and illustrating the news of the day a forum for sharing their common experiences. In the early 2000s the organization changed its name to the Chicago Journalists Association.
